Based in Massachusetts, I am a seasoned therapist of 22 years with experience in relationship issues, work/life stress, career counseling, substance abuse, co-occurring disorders, anxiety and depression, and anger management, among other issues.
Emotional disturbances manifest when you fail to live confidently and honestly with meaningful purpose and positive action. Low self-esteem, lack of confidence, little motivation, and chronic worry all negatively impact your relationship to self and others, creating symptoms that can spiral downward. We will arrest potential spirals and redirect their energy upward toward wellness.
“Talk” therapy is useful, but often needs more inventions and tools to find psychotherapy useful. My interventions holistically combine a portfolio of therapies to remove emotional barriers that mere talk therapies cannot. We will know results, not just talk about them. Your developing spirituality can also be integrated into your plan. We will discover the cause of your problem(s), identify your desired outcomes, outline a personal action plan to get you where you want to be, and work on the emotional barriers that block your way in realizing your desired outcomes.
Using a solution-focused, strengths-based approach, I focus on a client’s strengths and needs to make the most of our time together and get them on the path to living a happier, more meaningful life.
Adults and couples are all welcome.
I served as a clinical therapist and clinical supervisor for the Center for Human Development, clinical therapist for the Hampden County Sheriff’s Department, Clinical and Support Options, and Westfield State University as a pre-intern clinical supervisor. I received a master’s degree in clinical psychology from Westfield State in Westfield, Massachusetts.
