Based in Massachusetts and available virtually, I have extensive experience in anxiety disorders, including Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), as well as grief and loss, depression, chronic illness, and more.
When it comes to making meaningful change through therapy, I believe the cornerstone is connection and collaboration. As a team, we will create goals and decide together on strategies to get you there. I use Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), humor, and strengths-based perspective to help you identify and overcome what brings you to counseling.
I have experience working in a variety of settings, serving as a staff therapist at Bay State Counseling and Wellness Center in Billerica, Massachusetts. I have also been a social worker at both Fresenius Medical Care in Lowell, MA as well as CareOne in Concord. At The Edinburg Center in Bedford, Massachusetts, I have served as a Forensic Specialist, providing generalist case management and counseling to a population of court involved adults with pervasive mental illness.
I have a master’s degree in clinical social work from Boston University and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from University of Massachusetts-Lowell.
