For 24 years, I have been working with clients in a variety of settings to help them understand the various ways they can make changes to improve how they are feeling and functioning. Licensed in Massachusetts, I love working with adults, teens, couples, and members of the LGBTQ+ community. Throughout my career, I have helped clients with stress, trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), relationship issues including couples counseling, addictions and alcoholism, anxiety, depression, grief, issues with coping, and career counseling.
My primary areas of expertise include Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) and Motivational interviewing (MI), a counseling method that helps resolve ambivalent feelings and insecurities to find internal motivation, as well as Acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). Using a solution-focused style to resolve problematic thinking, I help to guide clients in setting realistic goals while encouraging them to stretch their limits to achieve their full potential.
My approach to therapy is compassionate and non-judgmental, aiming to create a safe space where clients feel heard and supported. Whether you're dealing with a specific issue or seeking general self-improvement, I am backed with more than two decades of experience to help you navigate to a more fulfilling and balanced life. Your agenda is my priority, and together, we’ll focus on what matters most to you.
