Based in Massachusetts, my goal is to provide each of my clients with a safe and supportive environment where they can process issues that may be holding them back from living their best life. A licensed therapist with several years of experience working with teenagers, young adults, adults, and seniors in individual and family settings, I specialize in many diagnoses, disorders, and conditions, including anxiety and depression.

I am certified in the Child and Adolescent Needs and Strengths (CANS) Assessment, a clinical tool administered to all Mass Health clients between the ages of 5 and 20. The CANS assesses the client’s individual needs and strengths in regards to his or her family and living environment, behavior, culture, mental health, and independent living abilities.

With extensive experience providing individual, group, and family therapy to adolescents in a therapeutic boarding school environment, I have managed a caseload of students with various diagnoses, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Schizophrenia, Major Depressive Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Borderline Personality Disorder, Reactive Attachment Disorder, and other mood, anxiety, learning, developmental, behavioral, and psychotic disorders.

I enjoy communicating and collaborating with parents, school districts, and other support agencies involved in student cases regarding Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), emergency team meetings, and building therapeutic alliances. I am trained in crisis management and other clinical emergencies that require immediate intervention to maintain student safety and well-being. I have facilitated clinical groups with topics ranging from impulse control, anxiety management, and cooperative games to substance abuse, transition planning, and men’s issues.

In 2008, I earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Assumption College in Worcester, Massachusetts. I went on to earn a master’s degree in counseling/psychology from William James College in Newton, Massachusetts in 2010.

I enjoy sports, music, reading, exercising, film, and travel.
