I love working with all genders, ideally ages 18-50, to become the best, most authentic versions of themselves. As a social worker and emergency response worker for the Department of Children and Families in Brockton, Massachusetts, I understand the many challenges of parenting, co-parenting, and different styles of raising mentally healthy children. I have experience with adults with severe and persistent mental illness working as a Crisis Clinician for Riverside Emergency Services in Norwood and South Shore Mental Health (now Aspire Health Alliance) in Quincy, Massachusetts.
With a particular skill set in pregnancy and parenting, gang activity, and those exploited through prostitution, pornography, and other forms of commercial sex acts (Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children – CSEC), my true passion is working with young adults in this demographic.
I specialize in anxiety, depression, adult attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), bipolar disorder, domestic abuse, family counseling, narcissistic personality, parenting, LGBTQIA, self-harm, coping skills, grief, trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), stress, and career counseling.
To meet various client needs, I practice cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), a common type of talk therapy, as well as Internal Family Systems (IFS), an approach to psychotherapy that identifies and addresses multiple sub-personalities or families within each person’s mental system, and person-centered therapy, allowing clients to take more of a lead in sessions and discover their own solutions.
I earned a master’s degree in social work from Boston College in Newton, Massachusetts and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Stonehill College in North Easton, Massachusetts.
