About Molly
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with over eight years of experience in the mental health field, working with individuals across a range of concerns. I take a direct, honest approach to therapy, balanced with an appropriate sense of humor to help make the process feel more approachable and human.
I understand that starting therapy can feel intimidating, so I prioritize building a strong foundation in the first few sessions. During this time, I focus on getting to know you, understanding your goals, and clarifying what you hope to gain from our work together.
My goal is to create a nonjudgmental, supportive space where you feel comfortable being yourself. I use a person-centered approach, tailoring our work to your unique needs, strengths, and experiences. Together, we can work toward meaningful, realistic change at a pace that feels right for you.
Why did you decide to work in mental health?
I was drawn to the mental health field out of a strong desire to support individuals during challenging and vulnerable periods in their lives. Alongside this, I have long been interested in understanding how the brain works, particularly the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behavior. What continues to inspire my work is the meaningful impact therapy can have on both an emotional and cognitive level. Supporting clients as they gain insight, develop new perspectives, and work toward lasting change is a process I find both powerful and deeply rewarding.
Why did you choose to work with The Psyched Group?
I chose to work at The Psyched Group after hearing consistently positive feedback from trusted colleagues in the field. They spoke highly of both the collaborative team of clinicians and the practice’s strong commitment to ethical care. It’s always meaningful when professionals outside of an organization hold it in such high regard, and that reputation played an important role in my decision to join the team.
